Styling is angular-period Pininfarina, with four synchronized ratios on the column. Front disc brakes are standard, and the handbrake is on the rear wheels: the last long-chassis 1500s (1500L, with bigger 1800-style body) have discs at the back, too. Semi-elliptic rear springs improve the handling. The 1500 has a delightfully smooth engine and will see 90mph. Against: looks, rust.
