43bhp short-stroke fiy-bearing six in modern backbone frame with Dubonnet-type ifs, recessed headlamps and door handles, hydraulic brakes (of course), and even headlamp flashers. Smooth and quiet up to 70mph, but for acceleration the 1100 (508C) is preferred. Later developments listed up tp '50; cabriolets with post-war type of vee grille UK-available 1939/40.
