Third variety of USA's famous sixties phenomenon, which pioneered the 'Pony' car. Still on same basic underpan, suspension and inner panels as original '64 type. As ever, engines from 155bhp to 375bhp (gross), with all manner of transmission suspension and decoration options. Smooth new styling and very desirable Mach I and Boss derivatives - 5-litre Boss an excellent race car. Down-market 'sixes' were rare, as were convertibles (only 22,419 in two years).
