A Consul with a different grille and two extra cylinders, giving 80-plus mph. In its day a favourite with tuners, who could give it Jaguar performance, but never Jaguar handling. More fun, though, than a contemporary Austin or Vauxhall. Some estate-car (Farnham) conversions by E.D. Abbott, as with Consul.
