HAMPTON NINE/12-40

2-seater, tourer, sportsman's coupé, fabric saloon.

Meadows engine (the 12/40 has a 4ED), magneto ignition, Zenith carburation, gravity feed, four-speed unit 'boxes and mechanical brakes in these Lost Causes from Stroud with somewhat Bugatti-like radiators. By 1930 only the bigger models area available with open coachwork, but these are quite good performers. Maybe three survive.
