That rarity, an all-new Rootes design - though it took Chrysler money to do it. Totally conventional mid-ranger, with strut front and coil-sprung live back axle, plus rack-and-pinion steering. Twin-carb GT late '70, estates and Tiger '72, two-doors and 1300/1600 engines '73, restyle and Chrysler badges '76. Ends life as a Talbot.
