HILLMAN NEW MINX (1938-39)
Saloon, drophead coupé, estate car.
Fencer's mask grilles and built-in rear number plates on these, plus external access boots for de luxe saloons. Alas! no tourers, though Carbodies bespoke Fairway model partly bridged this gap. Estate car still Commers. Three-dial instead of single-dial facias on '39s, and piston dampers, but no synchromesh on bottom gear.
