JOWETT 7 HP LONG
2-seater, tourer, sports tourer, 4-door fabric saloon, 4-door coachbuilt saloon, sports saloon.
Saloon nomenclature daunting (eg. 1935/36 Kestrels lose the 'sporting' configuration) but as roomy as the average Ten on a 102ins wheelbase, though braking always a weak point. Changes as for short-chassis cars except that you get rear tanks in '32, and 12-volts in '33. Four-speed silent-third 'box replaces three-speed on '34s with slant radiators, cruciform frames '35. Sports tourer (Weasel!) replaces family tourer after 1934.
