Engine's gone up forward again in a sophisticated X-K-braced frame with torsion-bar ifs, hydraulic brakes in generous 16ins drums and hypoid rear axle. Frank Feeley's styling (those sidemounts again) superb, though even a short-wheelbase LG6 runs close to two tons. Tourer production dubious, Rapide two-seater dropheads from '39.
