Outwardly, it's a DB17/DB18 Daimler with a Lanchester grille and the same bodies and easy-clean wheels. Brakes, however, are Bendix where Daimlers use Girlings, there's a spiral bevel back axle, and on this one we're back (as on small Daimlers) with detachable heads. If you find one with synchromesh, it's kosher, as this was available for the last time on any Daimler product before the 1959 SP250.
