LANCIA COUPE 2000/2000HF

2-door 4-seater coupé.

Substantially restyled (by Pininfarina) version of original Flavia coupé, now looking very like a four-seater Ferrari, with four-headlamp grille. Flat-four engine and front drive on 2000 saloon platform. 115bhp with carbs but 126bhp with injection - 118mph top speed in latter tune. Five-speed transmission from late 1971. All HFs had five speeds and Bosch injection. Smart understated looks, but not as fast as they promised. Rust was a problem - Pininfarina were famous for it at the time.
