LANCIA COUPE/SPIDER
2-door 2+2-seater coupé/Targa-type spider.
Shortened wheelbase/floorpan version of Beta saloon, with understated coupé superstructure, also converted to Spider with removable roof and let-down rear window styles. Retained for years after Beta saloon was withdrawn, latterly offered with 122bhp injected 2-litre, or as 'Volumes' with 135bhp and supercharging. Excellent early reputation, then died slowly of neglect.
