MERCEDES-BENZ 300S/300SC
Roadster, 2-seater cabriolet, 2-seater coupè.
Built on a shortened 300 saloon chassis; cost more when new than a 300SL. Three-carb 150bhp engine, plus the usual all-synchro 'box. Optional servo brakes for 1954. For 1956, fuel-injected 175bhp dry-sump 300SC arrives, with low-pivot swing-axles and standard power brakes.
