MG MGB MK II (chrome bumper)

2-door 2-seater/2+2-seater sports car/coupé/hatchback.

Thought to be the best of all MGBs, still with original 95bhp engine and good looks, and progressively better equipment through early seventies. As ever, the same supple ride and good roadholading, but 100mph top speed lagged progressively behind rivals as years passed by. MGB GT the smartest option of all, both sporting and practical. By this time, most had overdrive and many still with wire wheels. Not exciting, but ultra-safe.
