MINI-MARCOS
2-seater coupè.
Sister car to Mini-Jem, derived from same original. Glass-fibre monocoque to take Mini parts on their subframes; cheap and a little crude. Full-sliding side-windows for MkII, improved MkIII from 1967, and definitive MkIV - longer body, rear hatch, wind-up windows - from 1972. Jem Marsh stops production c.1975, and Harold Dermott of Midas manufactures until 1981. Revived by Marcos in improved MkV from 1991.
