Until 1982, crossflow Ford engine - most commonly in 95.5bhp 'Competition' form, which is standardised from May '71. Fiat 1600 twin-cam on 92 cars, starting October '81; Ford CVH 1600 replaces 'Kent' engine from March '82, with 5-speed 'box from '83. From beginning '69 four-seater available again.
