Cosmetic changes only, to keep the Eight in line with new Series III models higher up range. Painted radiator shell, Easiclean wheels and body in single colour. Black wings retained, though, unlike other '38 models, and Eight sticks with sidevalves and three speeds. Despite lack of significant modifications, sales stay as high as ever. Watch for body rot if you find one, though.
