You may have seen one or two of these, which are Iranian-assembled versions of the Hillman Hunter, supplied in kit from the UK. As Hunter, with Macpherson strut and disc braked front end; simple style in 14ft long package. Not luxurious and not meant to be, with 'heavy-duty' build for tough Iranian roads. Old 1.7-litre Hunter engine in seventies, 1.6-litre Avenger unit (65bhp) for eighties.
