Odd leading-arm front suspension, horn-like front overriders (except for last 8 cars), front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and all-synchro 'box by ZF. Single-carb Consul engine gives 73bhp, and an easy 90mph; 90bhp twin-SU conversion available. Coupè variants from June '62.
