This four-bearing 'six' comes with built-in jacks, but otherwise it's the same old formula, capable of a quiet 70mph even if acceleration is not its strong suit. 1937-38 cars are lookalikes but have smaller 1.6-litre engines of different and older design. Solid chassis, but watch for woodrot, and luggage accommodation is not spectacular.
