SINGER GAZELLE I/II

Transitional Rootes model with jazzed-up Hillman Minx bodyshell and mechanics, Singer contributions being the grille and the good old ohc engine - not as economical as Rootes' own pushrod unit. Mk IIs have overdrive option, bigger fuel tanks, side grilles and bodyside chrome. Station wagons from late '57 introduction of Mk II.
