SINGER NINE ROADSTER
4-seater sports tourer.
Early '39 introduction, and with its wide-ratio three-speed 'box and mechanical brakes a pale shadow of the old Le Mans Nine. The tough three-bearing Bantam engine gives 36bhp, however, and runs up to 5000rpm. All but early pre-war cars have strengthened chassis with cruciform. Post-war cars have engine further forward.
