Rival for A30 and Minor, with 26bhp three-bearing engine, unitary construction, coil ifs, hypoid rear end. Early ones very basic with negligible trim, sliding windows, only internal access to boot. Winding windows on De Luxe '54, on all from May '55. Super (1956) better equipped, Gold Star (1957) has opening boot, optional overdrive and/or auto clutch; becomes sole model.
