Vignale Vanguard with longer rear springs, higher gearing, and more luxurious trim, plus a smooth 80bhp twin-carburettor 'six' giving 90mph. Four transmission options - three-on-the-column, four-on-the-floor, overdrive or automatic. Front disc brakes available from July '61. Most people will prefer the later Triumph 2000 with the same engine.
