Compound single Solex replaces twin Zeniths, and there's a new angularly styled hardtop. Other improvements are a stiffer front end, telescopic rear dampers, twin rear tanks (doubling boot space), and superb Microcell seats. Hardtop optional on roadster; when it's part of the GT hardtop package, though, you lose the hood and gain a small rear seat, a walnut dash, and a slightly detuned engine. Quarter-lights on doors distinguish MkIII.
