Successful development of a strange lash-up seen at the '52 Show. Twin-carb 90bhp 2-litre Vanguard-derived engine, coil front suspension, 10ins drum brakes and plain bomb-crater grille. Overdrive and wire wheels available and also factory hardtops from '54. With overdrive does 108mph and 35mpg. Egress easier on 1955-on 'short-door' model. Handling basic but car is strong, simple, and reliable. Quite a few stayed home.
