Improved TR2 with triple overdrive when specified, scuttle ventilator, egg-crate grille and an extra-cost occasional rear seat. Usual options available and front disc brakes and stronger roller-bearing back axle standard from late '56. Early cars 95bhp; later TR3s 100bhp. Home deliveries less than 10 per cent, so relatively rare.
