TVR CONVERTIBLE

2-door 2-seater sports convertible.

TVR's first-ever series production convertible, still on the successful 300M/Taimar all-independent suspension chassis, with glass-fibre body shell, but aft of the windscreen the style and construction were new. Door windows, incidentally, slid sideways but could not be retracted, or their frame could be removed - shades of fifties MGs and TRs! All had an opening boot lid though, and were good for 125mph plus, with 25mpg economy. Many had overdrive.
