Redesigned and extremely robust multi-tubular frame: coils and wishbones front and rear, rack and pinion steering front disc brakes, centre-lock wheels, and slightly longer wheelbase. Overdrive available on 1798cc cars; back end still BMC, engines MGA to late '63, thereafter MGB. Handful of early cars apparently with Coventry-Climax and Ford 109E engines.
