Dreadful, gaudy '55 Chevrolet-shape on 13ins wheels with dog's leg screen, wrap-around rear window, and flutes banished to the body sides. Bonuses are a hydraulically-actuated clutch and synchro on bottom once more. Early ones have exhausts exiting though the rear bumper, a new form of rust trap. Newtondrive two-pedal control and estate cars available from early '58; some unofficial overdrive conversions, too.
