Tough Russian family saloon with five-bearing wet-liner engine, unitary construction, and lots of inclusive equipment - vast tool kit, driver-controlled radiator blind, radio, bed-seats, two-speed wipers and so on. Engineering conservative, handling lumpy and heavy, and performance uninspired. Always three-speeds, but floor change offered with rare rhd. Popular in Belgium, where imported engine-less and fitted with Perkins or Land-Rover diesels for taxi-use. Built like a tank.
