More Ferraris for Bonhams

| 28 Mar 2011

Bonhams has revealed more delicious Ferraris for its RAF Museum, Hendon sale on 11 April. They include a 1999 F50 Barchetta with fewer than 5500km on the clock and an estimate of £350-400,000. With that sort of estimate it seems a very long time ago that everyone was having a pop at the F50 and saying they would never be super-desirable. The same money, by way of comparison, is expected for a 288GTO Berlinetta, the brilliance of which has never knowingly being questioned.

A 1990 example of the F50's older brother, the F40 (above), now carries a lower estimate than its less-vaunted sibling at £300-350,000, while a 2003 360 Challenge Stradale is tipped to make £75-85k. For details visit here.
