Fancy the ultimate conversation piece for your coffee table? Then how about a crankshaft from the world’s most powerful production car?
Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S Molsheim has donated the crank from one of its 1000bhp V16 Veyrons to the Bugatti Owners’ Club to help the Prescott-based club raise funds.
The club plans to auction the part off at Bonhams’ Automobiles d'Exception à Rétromobile sale in Paris on 1 February.
All proceeds will go to the club’s Friends of Prescott fund, which aims to raise money for the enhancement of the Gloucestershire hillclimb and its various facilties, including a new clubhouse and viewing terrace.
The crankshaft was on show on the Bugatti Owners’ Club stand at this year’s Classic Motor Show (below).
