Prime Minister’s old Fiat to sell at the NEC

| 12 Oct 2012

A 1971 Fiat 500L, bought by David Cameron in 1998, is to sell at the Footman James Classic Motor Show on 17 November with an estimate of £8-12,000.

Given as a surprise birthday gift to his wife Samantha, the right-hand-drive city car has covered only 13,000miles and has been restored by its current owner.

The cheeky Italian motor will join a Lamborghini 400GT and an ex-police Mini at the Silverstone Auctions’ sale.
