Rare Cadillac set to star at Salmon Brothers sale

| 13 Jun 2012

The full catalogue of the 140-car Salmon Brothers Collection – to be sold at no reserve on 16 June – is now available on-line.

The Arkansas siblings amassed the huge collection over half a century and the cars crossing the block span a century of motoring history, from a 1908 Maxwell to a 2008 Roush Mustang.

The Mecum sale takes place at North Little Rock, Arkansas and you can now view the full catalogue here.

Meanwhile, C&SC has picked out a few of its own favourites including the 1934 Cadillac Fleetwood V12 All-Weather Phaeton (main image) that is one of only three of its type manufactured.

We also like the look of a 1957 fuel-injected Chevy Nomad (above) and a Pontiac Bonneville from the same year (below).
