Super-low mileage exotics consigned for Mecum at Monterey

An astonishing trio of Texas barnfind exotics is to be auctioned by Mecum during the Monterey extravaganza in August.

The threesome comprises a 1974 Dino 246GTS with fewer than 3000 miles on the clock, a 1972 Daytona boasting under 10,000 miles and a 978-miles-from-new (yes, just 978 miles!) 1977 Maserati Bora.

The cars have been stashed for decades in a barn in the Dallas area and will be part of a massive 750 lot-list at the auction, which takes place from 18-20 August at the nattily titled Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa on the Del Monte Golf Course.

See details of the auction, which will also be broadcast live on Mecum's telly programme Mecum Auto Auction: Muscle Cars & More (Discovery Communications' HD Theater), click here.

Wow!! that's impressive. it is very rare to find these kind of cars with such low mileage. Very curious to know how much they will go for!?!

This has to be one of the best barn finds I have heard of to date!
It would be nice to know how much these cars sell for at the Auction. Please keep us posted!
