A 1947 Morgan 4/4 Series 1 Drophead Coupé restoration project is one of the most tantalising prospects at the forthcoming DVCA sale on 22 March.
The Malvern car – with a guide price of £8-10,000 – comes with an interesting history and will require structural recommissioning, but it has recently passed its MOT test so shouldn't be that far gone.
Another highlight at Dorset Vintage and Classic Auctions' Spring Sale is a top-spec 1960 Jaguar Mk2 3.8 manual overdrive with limited slip diff (estimate £15-17,000). Subject of a major restoration in the 1990s it is said to remain in very good condition today.
Other vehicles consigned so far include two Bentley Turbo R’s, a Snowberry White Morris Minor Traveller, a 1928 Ford Model AA Tipper Lorry, a 1970 Morris Minor Van, and a 1959 Austin A95 Westminster.
