Gaydon set to host Bavarian beauties

The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon is gearing up for the largest ever gathering of BMW’s this Sunday when the museum hosts its annual BMW Festival.Around 3000 BMWs are expected to turn up on 14 August with the event celebrating three key marque anniversaries: 50 years since the launch of its seminal Neue Klasse and 40 since the arrival of the iconic 2002tii – along with 25 years for the Munich car maker’s E30 M3 variant.The Centre is expecting the largest ever line-up of the popular performance saloon while other highlights include the opportunity to win a trip around the Aston Martin test track with ex-triple World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx. The car displays will feature model and regional registers with the turnout complemented by a raft of marque-related trade specialist, including BMW UK, Munich Legends, AC Schnitzer and surface care specialist Meguiar’s – along with an autojumble and a ‘cars for sale’ section.Tickets cost £15 on the day for adults, £8 for children and £42 for a family ticket and you can also camp over for £30.
