Around 3000 cars are expected to attend the BMW Festival at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon on 17-18 August.

While Saturday is open only to BMW Car Club members, the public can join in on Sunday.

Both days are expected to attract rare and classic BMWs, plus cars from Alpina and ZED, as well as the performance models from BMW’s Motorsport wing.

The trade village will offer everything from parts and products to books and branded clothing.

The club stand will feature its shop along with a BMW tombola, with a prize for every visitor courtesy of the UK branch of the Bavarian firm.

The meet will also feature the National Concours final, a Show and Shine competition and a cars for sale area.

Organiser Tom Caren said: “You can see BMW displays stretching as far as the eye can see and entry to the Museum is also included in the ticket price.”

Entry on the day cost £15 for adults, £8 for children (under-fives go free), £13 for concessions and £42 for a family (two adults, two children).

Discounted tickets are available in advance from the BMW Car Club office by calling 01225 709009 or by visiting the organisation’s website.
