Panthers on the prowl at Brooklands

| 10 Aug 2012

The world's biggest-ever gathering of Panther cars is expected at Brooklands in less than a month.

The bumper turn-out is expected at the Panther Car Club's annual Grand Gathering because the marque is celebrating a raft of anniversaries.

Among them are:

40 years of Panther (1972-2012) the manufacturer.

40 years of the J72 (1972-2012)

30 years of the Kallista (1982-2012)

Celebrating the Queen's Jubilee with the 1977 Jubilee Lima (special edition)

Last year 97 Panther cars were at the Surrey Speedbowl, but a far bigger showing is expected from UK owners and especially continental enthusiasts in 2012.

The club is also trying to ensure as many former Panther employees are on hand during the celebrations.
