Beaulieu Events – the company responsible for Europe’s biggest Autojumble – will take over the organisation of this year’s Sodbury Sortout at the National Motor Museum on 19 May.
The Spring Autojumble, which also runs that weekend, has blossomed into an internationally renowned market that attracts more than 14,000 enthusiasts and it is hoped that the dedicated Land-Rover meet will have similar success under the same management.
Beaulieu’s Judith Maddox said: “The Sortout gives a great boost to Autojumble Sunday and a welcome new audience for the exhibitors in both fields. In taking a more active involvement in May, we hope to build on past successes and will be working to increase the content in future years.”
The giant car boot sale is the ‘first stop shop’ for parts and memorabilia covering the iconic off-roaders from the Series 1 through to the Discovery II.
Entry to the Sortout is included with admission to the Spring Autojumble, which opens at 10am and is priced at £9.70 for adults and £7.50 for children aged between 5-17 years old. Under fives go free.
