After the massive success of CarFest South, which sold out in just two hours, CarFest North has been announced for 8-9 September.

Its location will be revealed by petrolhead and DJ Chris Evans during his Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

CarFest North will feature many of the attractions of its sister event, such as a hill climb and display cars with the Sevens theme inspired by Evans’ previous charity runs in his Magnificent Seven Ferraris, and will also be held in aid of BBC Children in Need.

Cars that will be displayed include classics such as the Lamborghini Miura, Aston DB4GT Zagato, Jaguar E-type, Mercedes SL Gullwing, Mustang GT390 Fastback and Citroën DS.

For rally fans, there’s everything from the Audi quattro S1 and Lancia Delta S4 to the Ford RS200, Peugeot 205 T16 and the mighty Pikes Peak Peugeot 405 T16, all provided by Slowly Sideways.

Like its southern sister, CarFest North will feature music, food and drink. To find out more or to register, visit the website here.
