Dramatic motor sport is promised as Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb presents two events this weekend.

Biggest lure for classic fans will be the Midlands Automobile Club’s Vintage meet on Sunday. Held in association with the Vintage Sports-Car Club, the stunning entry list will include big names such as Bentley, ERA, Frazer Nash, Talbot, Lea Francis, Alvis, Riley and Lagonda.

Meanwhile, Saturday’s event – the Reg Phillips Memorial Trophy Meeting – has attracted an entry list that includes more than 20 Caterhams and Westfields, plus more than 30 motorcyles and three-wheelers, not to mention around 40 pre-1975 Classic Libre and Racing cars.

Saturday will also play host to rounds of both the Midland Speed Championship and the HAS Speed Championship, with a full-entry list of single-seater racing cars from all classes.

Both events get underway at 9.30am with commentary provided throughout the weekend. To find out more visit Shelsley’s website.
