A date has been set for the 4th Classics in the Walled Garden at Luton Hoo, Bedfordshire. Having attracted 650 cars and raised more than £3000 for charity in 2011, this year's event will take place on American Independence Day, 4 July.
Classics in the Walled Garden is an evening classic car picnic on the Luton Hoo Estate and, because of limitations on space, the first 150 entries will be inside the walled garden, the next 150 just outside it and the remainder in the nearby paddock.
It is intended for cars more than 20 years old but with, according to organiser Peter Madden, "more modern classics accepted at my discretion".
Proceeds will be divided between The Walled Garden Project, and the Harpenden Trust.
