Dozens of classics turn out in New South Wales

The annual Autorama Car Show at Berkeley Sports Ground is organised by the Wollongong South Rotary Club and raises thousands of dollars for local charities. This year’s event, which took place on 7 February, was blessed with a warm sunny day and attracted a wide variety of classic and vintage cars, hot rods, motorbikes and trucks – though the majority were American and Australian muscle cars.

The Best Car trophy went to Jamal Ayoubi for his supercharged Ford XC Coupe. Other winners included Mark Alcock for his seven-litre Corvette-engined Ultima GTR, the only one road registered in NSW, Maureen Sullivan’s ’57 Chevrolet Bel Air and Tony Silvestri’s ’59 Chevrolet Impala convertible.
