Hurlingham set to continue concours theme

| 8 Jun 2011

Another year, another concours at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham.

What remains consistent is the behind-the scenes-presence of major mover and shaker Michael Scot (below). His 96 Club – it's a long story starting in 1976 and involving Ray Bellm, Ferraris and lost driving licences – event is planned to fill the gap left when Salon Privé, which Scott had worked had with, exited to Brentford.

"The Definitive Luxury Lifestyle Event" takes place from 27-29 July promises 'Top Brands, Top Marques, Top Hats'  as well as five McLaren Le Mans cars, a quintet of Gulf-liveried Le Mans cars, Aston Martins, Pinin Farina Ferraris, plus loads more classics as well as high-end modern cars and expensive "lifestyle" brands.

Tickets start from £165 plus VAT, details from http:// www.concourslondon.com.

Low chassis Invicta and Aston Martin DB4 will feature at the event.

As will the gorgeous ex-Mussolini 1939 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Touring Coupe.
