The exhibition will feature a collection of over 120 Ladybird books and over 30 original artwork illustrations all set amongst many of the vehicles which feature in them. Also on display will be a 1904 Wolseley, a 1967 Austin 1100, a 1936 MG and a 1971 Rover P5 and others.

Stephen Laing, Curator for the Heritage Motor Centre said: “This is a fantastic new exhibition and a fabulous opportunity to recapture your childhood, and perhaps share it with your own children or grandchildren. There will also be a children's Ladybird play area with books and activities to enjoy, so there is something for all generations to enjoy."

A selection of vintage Ladybird gifts will also be available to purchase in the Museum shop. Entry to the exhibition is included in the standard museum entry fees: for more info visit the website.
