Lamborghini Miura scoops top award at FoS

The Lamborghini Museum’s own 1971 Miura SV was crowned overall victor in the Cartier Style et Luxe concours d’elegance at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. 

Julien Slade’s 1898 Benz Velo took class honours in the Coach and no Horses category, while the English Grace, American Pace class was won by Paul Giovanni’s elegant 1967 AC 428 Fastback. 

Phillipe Coret’s Astura Pinin Farina Cabriolet ‘Bocca’ won the Alpha to Zeta prize for pioneering Lancias, with the Gandini’s Raging Bull class topped by Nick Gatehouses’ 1975 Lamborghini Contact Periscopo.

The judging panel included Apple chief designer Sir Jonathan Ive and model David Gandy.
