Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 one of three to tackle Goodwood

| 19 Jun 2013

The McLaren F1 that triumphed at Le Mans in 1995 will wow crowds as it attacks Goodwood’s hill at this year’s Festival of Speed from 12-14 July.

Chassis F1/01R will be joined by the one-off F1 LM – which was built to honour the five F1s that competed in ’95 – plus the Gulf-liveried ‘Longtail’ that claimed second at the French enduro in ’97.

Celebrating its 50th this year, McLaren remains the only racing team ever to have won the Formula 1, Indy 500, Can-Am and Le Mans championships.

Buy tickets for the event, which is already sold out for Saturday, on the festival’s website.
