A new international concours d'elegance is to join the classic-car calendar in 2013. Backed by C&SC, the Warren Classic and Concours will take place on 4 May.
The venue will be the picturesque 350-acre Warren Golf & Country Club in Woodham Walter, Essex and it has already attracted a host of high-profile supporters including Bonhams, EFG, Hagerty, Hastings Direct and Frederique Constant.
There will be 10 classes of high-quality concours beauties on the field, ranging from veterans to modern supercars, with a host of special celebrations in the inaugural year such as the centenary of Aston Martin, plus the 50th anniversaries of the Porsche 911, Aston Martin DB5 and the Lamborghini marque.
Organisers have deliberately kept prices for visitors low and entry will cost just £25 per car with up to five occupants.
As well as the main, 100-car concours, there will be club displays, supercar parking, retailers, catering and more. Only classic cars will be permitted on-site on the day.
